In Loving Memory of Hazel Alene Conner
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hazel Alene (Cariker) Conner, born in Okemah, Oklahoma on April 1, 1928, and departed this world from Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 19, 2024. Alene touched the lives of many and will be forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Hazel, always lovingly known as Alene, was married to Lon J. Conner, Jr on December 6, 1954. They had one child, Stephen (Steve) Conner. She talked much about her early career as a switchboard operator for the phone company in Norman. Alene retired from Rockwell in 1989. She loved to shop, eat out, go on group trips, and she loved her pets, Gretchen and Miss Kitty.
Alene is survived by her son, Steve and wife Linda, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
