Helen Lucille Bernhardt's Obituary
Lucille Bernhardt was born September 29, 1917 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away November 17, 2012 in Tulsa at the age of 95 years. She graduated from Jenks High School and married W. A. “Joe” Bernhardt on October 11, 1942 in Yuma, AZ. Lucille was a homemaker most of her life and later worked and retired as a key punch operator for Dowell. Lucille and Joe were members of the Jenks United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, son J.L., parents Roy and Alva Hardesty Garrison, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include her daughter Helen Harvey and husband Larry of Beggs, grandson Jason Harvey and wife Melanie of Edmond, granddaughter Keli Groves and husband Brad of Beggs, and four great grandchildren Kalen, Reid, and Kord Groves and Alyse Harvey. A funeral service for Mrs. Bernhardt will be held 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Floral Haven Chapel with Reverend David E. Karges officiating. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 19 from 4-8 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Floral Haven Funeral Home of Tulsa.
