Helen Fay Cole's Obituary
Helen Fay Cole, born September 8, 1942, in Washington D.C. to Louis and Beulah Adams, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 82.
Helen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. She married the love of her life, Merle Cole, on October 25, 1957, in Alsuma, Oklahoma, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Helen was known for her open heart and infectious smile. She never met a stranger and never made an enemy, always radiating warmth and goodwill wherever she went. She found joy in simple pleasures, especially when it came to spending time with her family. She adored attending her children's events and supporting them with unwavering enthusiasm.
A passionate traveler, Helen was fortunate to embark on 26 cruises throughout her lifetime, exploring new places and experiencing the world in her own special way. Whether it was dancing the night away at a square dance or knitting a cozy blanket, Helen’s joy for life was evident in all that she did.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents
Helen is survived by her husband of 67 years Merle Cole, son Ronnie Cole and wife Sheryl, daughter Rhonda Cole Wilson, son Monte Cole & wife Belinda, brother Marvin Adams, sisters Patsy Adams and Wanda Maynard, grandchildren Randall Cole, Daniel Cole, Matthew Cole, Casey Cole, Alexander Cole Wilson, Rachel Cole, great-grandchild Charlie Cole, along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones
Visitation will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 3-6 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers can be made to Claire House (7617 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK 74133) The family wanted to appreciate the unwavering kindness Claire House showed through a difficult time
