Helen J. Creel March 27, 1943 January 30, 2009 Tulsa, OK Helen (Hibbs) Creel, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed from this life on January 30, 2009, after a bout with pancreatic cancer. Helen was born on March 27, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Donald and Mary Gladys Hibbs. She was married to Daniel T. Creel on November 28, 1964 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Helen was a career-long Registered Nurse at St. John Medical Center, helping to bring thousands of babies into this world. She graduated from the St. John School of Nursing in 1964. Helen and her abundant love will be greatly missed by her many family members and friends. She qualified her overflowing love with the remark that “my family is worth it” and all who knew her were treated as family. Helen was a member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution, Osage Hills Chapter. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Creel, her daughter and son-in-law Shelly and Brett Reynolds of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law Beth and Darren King of Inola, Oklahoma; daughter Sara Sawyer of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; son Brian Creel of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her four grandsons, Taylor Reynolds, Brody Sawyer, Trevor Sawyer and Elijah Creel; and her eight brothers and sisters Joyce Hibbs, Carroll Arnett, Betty Pardue, Richard Hibbs, Kenneth Hibbs, Linda Thomas, Mary Pingry and Ed Hibbs. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 3rd with prayers and a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at the Floral Haven Chapel 6500 S. 129th E. Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012; The funeral Mass will be at the Madalene Catholic Church located at 3188 E. 22nd St Tulsa, OK 74114 on Wednesday, February 4th 1:00 PM with Father Jack Gleason officiating.
