Helen Sue Lloyd's Obituary
Helen Sue Lloyd, (73) was born on January 2nd, 1945 to John and Jerri Crockett in Berkeley, California. Helen spent the majority of her life residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2018 after putting up a tough fight against cancer. Helen was an active member of Tulsa’s Moose Lodge where she enjoyed working Bingo, playing some cards, cooking, and working any charitable event she possibly could. Helen’s generosity was unparalleled, as was her quick wit and ability to fire off jokes which kept all her friends and family laughing. Helen’s greatest joy in life was being a Granny to her two grandsons, Grey and Cole. She loved watching them play baseball, taking trips, and spending as much time with them as she possibly could. Helen was most proud to be a mother and Granny and she loved to tell anyone she met all about her boys!Helen is preceded in death by her Mother, Jerri Couch, Father, John Crocket, and sister, Mary Connor. Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and April Meadows, grandsons Grey and Cole Meadows, Sister and Brother-in-law Carol and Mike Park, along with nieces and nephews Jeff Park, Jenny Park, Jamie Park, and Tosha McDugle. Helen also leaves behind her great niece and nephew, Brooklyn and Jesse Park along with her loving companion of the home, Jay Jones; Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins including Sonja Brown and Kathy Lynch who surrounded her with endless love and prayers. Helen’s beautiful smile, hearty laugh, and kind soul will be greatly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. To know Helen was to love and adore her.A memorial service for Helen will be held on Wednesday January 31st, 2018 at 12:30pm at Floral Haven, and a Celebration of life will be held at the Moose Lodge on Thursday, February 1st between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
