Helen Louise Sowell's Obituary
Helen Louise Sowell passed away on January 6th, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 86. She was born August 9, 1928 to Clem and Fay Richardson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Helen was married to Charles “Pappy” Sowell who preceded her in death in 2003. Her greatest joys was spending time with her family and her beloved animals. She was an active volunteer for Western Neighbors for many years which she enjoyed very much. Helen will forever be loved and missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her brother Pete, her sons Mike and his family in Granite City, Illinois and Bill and his family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a very loving and caring person especially with her sons and their families which included 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She’s was preceded in death by her dad Clem and her mother Fay, her sisters Betty and Doddie and her sons Larry and Gary “Bub”. Visitation is being held Friday, January 09, 2015, 12:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Room, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A celebration of life service will be held, Saturday, January 10, 2015, 12:30 PM, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
