I am so sorry to hear about Tooties death. I have been thinking about John and Tootie for some time and finally found them on Facebook. I knew them from when they lived in Grand Island, Nebraska in the early 1980s. I always valued their friendship. The last time I saw them was at my wedding in 1983. They drove through a blizzard from Oklahoma to Omaha. Aaron and Elizabeth were very young. Wished I would have reconnected with them sooner. My deepest sympathy to the McCaffery family.

My dearest Toodie: thank you. Thank you for being the crazy, life loving person you were. Thank you for being a living example of "grace under pressure". Thank you for being my neighbor, but more importantly, my friend. I am grateful for so many years of memories filled with laughter and you.

I first met 2-D some sixty years ago. Her brother Barry and I had become best friends (still are), and therefore I spent a lot of time at their house on 28th St. in St. Louis Park...only 2 blocks from my house. I was there at least a couple of times every week, all throughout Junior and Senior High School. 2-D was everything that was said about her today at the funeral service, and from those who wrote in. She was quick to smile and make a joke. She was genuine. She had a good heart. She was friendly to and respectful to all. I like to say...'she was a good kid'. I liked to call her Toodles sometimes, especially because that reminded me of her beloved father Mike who called her that. My condolences to the entire family. Love from Myron Goodman

Toodie was my cousin. Even though I only saw her during summers. We always enjoyed each other’s company. One summer she took me to see Love Story. We saw other movies too. Guess if the had been social media back then we would have corresponded more. We still talked once in a while and we enjoyed it. I am so sorry she is gone but she will always remain with me

Though we didn’t spend a lot of time together over the years, one thing they stands out to us was Toodie’s laugh! She was a pretty cheerful person and always so pleasant to be around. We are so very sorry for your loss.
