Helga Rohr's Obituary
Helga Rohr, age 84 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed from this life Sunday February 19, 2023, at home in Broken Arrow.
Helga Rohr was born October 31,1938 in Germany. Her young childhood years were during World War II . She lost her father at the age of 6 during the war on the Russian Front. They were notified, not to return home as the home had been bombed. Needless to say, she persevered and married a soldier then moved to the United States. She became a naturalized citizen which she was extremely proud of ,and began a career in fashion retail . She excelled in her profession and retired from Miss Jackson. She loved her family and friends especially her two grandchildren Kara and Ryan. She enjoyed playing golf, working in her flower gardens and watching the humming birds. Most important to her was her Catholic faith, she read the Bible daily and attended church until Covid and the watched it on Tv. She was a great woman of faith and will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her two daughters: Gloria Jean Chisolm and Patricia Lorene Vaught; grandchildren: Kara AnnMarie Chisolm and Ryan David Vaught; granddogs: Bella, Piper, Molly, and Lillie; great-granddog: Chase; and sister: Tilly Cox.
Helga is preceded in death by her parents: Otto and Wahlburger Kiechle; and husband: Don Rohr.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
