Yes, he was a wonderful nice Uncle to all his nieces & nephews. We were blessed to have him in our lives. ??
Herb was a very gentle soul. May he rest in God's peace. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the family. With deepest sympathy, Katherine Keim
Herb, my dear brother I will miss you very much. You were a honest and a very good man, you never hurt anyone, and was always kind and soft spoken. I will miss our weekly phone calls as they always brought me comfort to hear your voice.Rest In Peace, until we meet again.Love your sister, Lucybelle
My Dearest Uncle Herb, you were greatly loved by all your nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed. Thank you for spending the long summer days with me at grandma's home in the hills. I remember you pet crow Jessie, I was always afraid of him, but he was a good crow. I remember the story you told of when Jessie stole the house keys from grandma as she was locking the front door. Most of all, I remember the daily trips we took to Mocking Bird store and you always bought me some candy. ??Also, thank for our freedom and you for your bravery as a combat solider in the Korean War.RIP Uncle Herb, I will see you again someday in heaven.Love, Your niece Christine
