Herbert Driezen's Obituary
Herbert Driezen was born August 8, 1937 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and passed away August 20, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Herbert was the youngest of four children born to Manus and Maria Driezen. Herbert lived in Amsterdam with his family until the age of 18. Herbert attended Netherlands School; Graphic Art School in Amsterdam; Academy of Fine Arts (Rotterdam) System. Herbert majored in Lithography and Photo Engraving. After graduating Herbert moved to the United States and joined the U.S. Army. Herbert was a Lithographer for 36 years and retired in 2002. Herbert was married to LuAnn Driezen on November 13, 1984 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Herbert’s proudest moments were immigrating to the United States, serving in the military and being a father. When Herbert wasn’t working he loved collecting arrowheads and coins, cycling, painting, spectating, coaching and refereeing soccer. Herbert is preceded in passing by his parents Manus and Maria Driezen. Herbert is survived by his spouse LuAnn Driezen; son Lucas and his wife Megan Driezen; son Hannon Driezen; brother-in-law Galen and his wife Cindy Bordenkircher; brother-in-law Ron Bordenkircher and extended family members here and abroad.
