Hilde Procknow's Obituary
Hilde Procknow, age 80, passed away on February 19, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.
She was born on November 26, 1945, in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, to Josef and Hedwig Moravec. Growing up in Germany, Hilde developed the strength, independence, and resilience that would define her life. She carried her heritage with pride and built a life centered on love, loyalty, and adventure.
On June 7, 1995, Hilde married the love of her life, Brian Procknow, in a beautiful ceremony in Eureka Springs. Together they shared a devoted and loving marriage filled with companionship, laughter, and countless memories. Hilde was not only Brian’s wife, but his greatest supporter, fiercest protector, and very best friend.
Hilde retired in 2011 after a long and dedicated career in the printing industry. She worked for over 40 years with Consolidated Printing Solutions, demonstrating remarkable loyalty, commitment, and a strong work ethic throughout her career.
Hilde had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished traveling the backwoods of Oklahoma, exploring nature’s quiet beauty. She enjoyed fishing, attending her granddaughter’s softball games, and spending peaceful moments walking. She also found joy in crocheting, creating handmade treasures with care, and trying her luck at the casino. Whatever she did, she did with spirit and determination.
Known for her protective nature, Hilde was fiercely independent, yet deeply loving and caring. She stood strong for those she loved and offered unwavering loyalty and friendship. Her warmth, strength, and generous heart will be remembered by all who knew her.
Hilde was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gerhard Moravec; and her sisters, Heide Federer and Erika Watson.
Hilde is survived by her husband, Brian Procknow; son Gary Williams and wife Jenell; daughter Lucinda Dobson and husband Tim; step-son Jonathan Procknow and wife Lara; step-son Jason Procknow; brother Josef Moravec; sister Ursula Müller; grandchildren Travis Williams, Courtney Girty, and Lexy Dobson; step-grandchildren Carson Procknow, Ethan Procknow, and Connor Procknow; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to CompleteOK Hospice, especially Barbara, Tiffany, Crochia, Sarah, Angela, and Shelby, for their compassionate care, kindness, and support during this time. Also, a special thanks to Hilde’s part time caregiver, Fallyn.

Interment will take place at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Reflections Garden
