Holly F. Davis' Obituary
Holly Fay Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life at 77 on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Forest Hills Health Care in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born February 2, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her parents, Fern Grace Dowell Loney and Everett Raymond Loney.
One of the most defining things about Holly was her strong and unwavering faith. Just as God has an unconditional love and grace for all of his children, Holly practiced the same grace and love for her family. She was truly fulfilled with the love she had for her family and God. Holly was a very devoted mother and grandmother; she always put the happiness and concern for others before her own. She spent her entire life taking care of her special needs son Chris, all the while balancing a career and the rest of her family. She never lost an ounce of love for anyone along the way, in fact her love for us increased each day. Just as the Father’s love is almighty and eternal, Holly’s love is and forever will be. Her grand babies and great grand baby were the most important thing to her. She cherished them in a special place in her heart and she will be their number one fan from above; admiring them every step of the way until she can hug our necks again. Her grandkids recall her spending weekends with them, driving across town to make sure she could squeeze in quality time with any and all free time she had. Holly loved to cook and enjoy food with the company of her loved ones.. She just wanted to see that you had a full belly and a happy face! Holly’s grace and love is a testament to the amazing powers that we may not yet understand, but one thing we can all agree on and understand, is that God blessed us with our own personal angel for the time of Holly’s life. Now she is Home where she can smile upon us every day. If Holly would want us to remember one thing it would be that we will all meet again and share a warm welcome home hug, as if a day never passed. Holly was such a pure spirit before she left, but now she perfect with God and at peace. She was the best momma, grandma, sister and friend someone could have had. We all love you Holly and your name will live on in our memories and traditions for eternity and a piece of you will be with us until we all meet again.
Holly is survived by her three children, Kevin Davis and his wife Cathy of Bixby, Oklahoma, Laura Simpkins and her husband Roy of Chouteau, Oklahoma and Chris Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Amber O'Neal and her husband Garret, Jessica Steele, Lauren Steele, Connor Davis, Katelyn Davis, Garrett Simpkins, Tristan Simpkins and Zachary Simpkins; one great-granddaughter; , Harper Elizabeth O'Neal; one sister, Cherry Fisher and her husband Carl of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and three nephews, Carl Fisher Jr. and his wife Shelly of Westport, Oklahoma, Charles Fisher and his wife Lindy of Argyle, Texas, and Clark Fisher of The Colony, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fern and Everett Loney and one brother, John.
