H. Fred Campbell's Obituary
Homer Frederick "Fred" Campbell, 90 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, September 28, 2020 at a hospital in Conway, Arkansas. He was born October 9, 1929 in South Bend, Indiana to his parents, Homer Valentine Campbell and Beatrice Irene Staffeldt Campbell. He married the love of his life, Marilyn Anderson on August 28, 1955 in South Bend, Indiana and they shared in over 65 wonderful years before her passing in August of 2020.
Fred is a veteran of the United States Navy having served from 1950-1954 during the Korean War. A devoted fan to the Chicago Cubs, it was a dream for Fred to have the Cubs win a World Series Championship and the dream finally came true in 2016. He was a member of South Tulsa Baptist Church with Marilyn and he will be truly missed among the congregation.
Fred is survived by four sons, Fred Campbell and his wife Connie of Stanhope, New Jersey, Steve Campbell and his wife Dianne of Owasso, Oklahoma, Phil Campbell and his wife Renee of Hackett, Arkansas, and Jim Campbell and his wife Kara of Conway, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Matthew Campbell and his wife Jericho, Michelle Kaasmann and her husband Chris, Michael Campbell, Chance Campbell and his wife Rachel, Danielle Campbell, Collin Campbell, Scotty Campbell and his wife Rebekah, Jeff Campbell and Courtney Campbell; seven great-grandchildren, Hank, Kelly, Quinn, Cole, Ava, Hudson and Beau. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Beatrice Campbell; his wife, Marilyn Campbell; two siblings, Maryland Bieber and Robert Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Costanzo officiating.
