Howard DeWayne Stalker's Obituary
Howard DeWayne Stalker of Mounds, Oklahoma died in his home at the age of 76 years old on Monday September 15th, 2025. Howard was born August 3rd, 1949 in Cummings, Iowa. His parents were Richard Ivan and Ivadell Stalker. Howard’s wife is Martha Sue Stalker, and they were married November 30th, 1999 in Dallas, Texas.
Howard graduated from Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was in the United States Navy for 8 years as an Electrician’s Mate II on Nuclear Submarines and received an honorable discharge in 1978. He later worked at Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant in Arizona, Geo Data in Tulsa. He later got his Master’s Degree in Finance and started his own business, Howard’s Bookkeeping and Tax Services.
Howard’s children from oldest to youngest are son, Richard and wife, Joni Stalker of Traer, Iowa, Laura Moody of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Amelia and husband, Josh Russo of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Vera Dujmic and husband, Phil Lindquist of Tuscon, Arizona, Elizabeth Stalker and husband, Richard Echols of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Jessica Stalker of Phoenix, Arizona. Howard’s grandchildren are Blake Even, Jocelyn Moody, Kayla Moody, Nikolet Dujmic, Lana Dujmic, and, Isabella Canady.
Howard is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Karen and her husband Terry Koeneke of Waterloo, Iowa and Louise Roufouger of North Port, Florida.
Howard had a good sense of humor and was always ready with a quick comeback. He will truly be missed.
