Howard Van Dyke, 73, of Tulsa, OK passed from this life on November 1, 2022. Howard was born on October 09, 1949 to Ronald and Phyllis Hartrum Van Dyke in Somerville, NJ. Howard was married to Beverly Hockenbury Van Dyke from December 22nd, 1968 until her passing in March of 2020.
Howard is survived by his sons Craig Van Dyke and Keith Van Dyke and wife Linda, sister Linda Rutherford and husband Kenny, brother Ron Van Dyke and wife Cyndi, grandchildren Heather Van Dyke, Austin Van Dyke, Derek Van Dyke, great-grandchildren Bella Mitchell and Jordan Van Dyke, many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Howard is preceded by his wife Beverly Van Dyke, parents and sisters Carol Van Dyke and Nancy Hainge
Howard was a 1968 graduate of High Bridge High School. He was selfless, loving, full of laughter and always kind. When he wasn’t taking care of others, he loved reading and loved his Nascar races. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Memorial service will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Floral Haven with Pastor James Lacey officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
