Huey E. “Hoot” Paradee, 74, of Owasso, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 2, 2016, at the Owasso First Assembly of God Church, Owasso, Oklahoma. He was born on May 15, 1942 in Columbus, Kansas, the son of Huey and Celestia (Harris) Paradee. On December 30, 1966, he married the love of his life, Sharon Duvall, in Turley, Oklahoma. Hoot retired from American Airlines after many years of service. He loved fishing, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed being a part of the worship team, and playing the guitar at church. Hoot is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, children; Suzanne Kirby, and her husband, Scott, of Vinita, Oklahoma, Rebecca Fimple, and her husband, Todd, of Owasso, Oklahoma, Aaron Paradee, of Claremore, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Patricia Roop, and her husband, Brad, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Allison Kirby and Cougar Martin, of Blue Jacket, Oklahoma, Jared, Nathan, and Kelcee Fimple, both of Owasso, Oklahoma, great-grandchildren; Westyn Kirby-Rinehart, Grayson Martin, both of Blue Jacket, Oklahoma, Oliver Roop, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, siblings; Jennie Bone, and her husband, Marvin, of Englewood, Colorado, John Paradee, and his wife, Margaret, of Columbus, Kansas, Jim Paradee, and his wife, Sue, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Celestia “Rea” Wright, of St. Stephens, South Carolina, and Carolyn Paradee, of Lamar, Colorado, and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Mabel Hayden.
