Hugh Vick's Obituary
Hugh Vick, 96, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Tuesday September 11, 2018, in Bixby, Oklahoma.Hugh was born February 16, 1922, in Ft. Smth, Arkansas to Lester and Isabelle Vick. Hugh retired from General Motors, in Detroit, Michigan. Hugh was a World War II veteran who served in the United States Army. Hugh was a long time member of Downtown Bixby Church of Christ. Hugh is survived by his loving wife, Bettie Vick, his son, Clarence Vick and daughter-in-law Judy Vick, his two granddaughters Cheryl (Joe) Barrett, Jennifer (Dan) Hein; his four grandsons, Justin (Brittany) White, John Anderson, Jacob Numbers, and Jordan Anderson and his four great grandchildren, Austin, Isabella, Axton, and Alexis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Isabelle Vick, his brother, Elmer, his sister, Margaret, and his son Darrell Vick. Visitation and Funeral will be at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The visitation will be Monday, September 17, 2018, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s (www.michaeljfox.org).
