Huong Minh Thi Phan's Obituary
Huong was born in Hue City, Vietnam on December 3, 1969. She moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam at 26 in 1993. She worked as a retail seller while she was there, and that is where she met the love of her life, her husband, Tuan Anh Hoang. After she met her husband in Ho Chi Minh City, he went to America to give her a better life. 2 years later, he came back to get married on January 6th, 1996 in Ho Chi Minh City. After they got married, they moved to America together in 2000. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where they started their brand new life together. In 2001, she gave birth to her first child Michelle Thi Hoang. Two years later, in 2003, she gave birth to her second child Jackie Anh Hoang. After she gave birth to her children, she started working as a nail technician and owned a shop together with her husband. She was a very friendly and outgoing person, always wanting to make or give food to those she loved. Her favorite dish was Bun Bo Hue. Her favorite colors were pink and purple. Her favorite flowers were red roses. Her favorite hobby was shopping with her daughter and mother. She loved shopping at T.J. Maxx, Marshall’s, Ross, and Nordstrom Rack. In 2021 sometime in December, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After months of treatment in hospitals and doctors visits, she was cancer free early 2022. She had been living her best life after she was cancer free with her friends and family. Enjoying life and all the memories she made until 2024. In 2024, her pancreatic cancer came back. She went to treatment for chemotherapy for the next 2 years until it was at stage 4. On April 4, 2026 at 6:43am she passed away.
