Ike Holt Jr.'s Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of Ike Holt, Jr., 71, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, announces his passing on July 17, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Ike was born on May 5, 1955, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to Ike, Sr. and Beth Holt. He attended Webster High School in Tulsa and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, Ike built a distinguished career as a professional truck driver with Con-way Trucking, later XPO, where he earned the prestigious 2 Million Mile Safe Driving Award before retiring.
On January 30, 1987, Ike married the love of his life, Michelle Westbrook, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and adventure. A devoted Christian, Ike lived with quiet strength, integrity, and a deep love for those around him.
Ike found joy in fishing, riding his Harley, watching NASCAR, and cheering on his granddaughters at high school football games. He especially looked forward to traveling with his beloved wife, Michelle, making cherished trips to Alabama, and celebrating the Fourth of July with his Uncle Charles and Aunt Regena. His greatest happiness came from spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike, Sr. and Beth Holt; his grandparents, Henderson and Tina Holt; and Curt and Lois Huett and his uncle OD and Aunt Linda Holt
Ike leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 39 years, Michelle Holt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his children, Gunnar and wife Julie Holt of Palmer, Texas, Paxton and wife Jessica Holt of Palmer, Texas, and Kira Hanna of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was a proud grandfather to Spencer Holt, Natalyn Holt, Kayleigh Easley, Jayde Holt, Kase Skaggs, Kambryn Hanna, Karstyn Hanna, Kaedry Hanna, and Kryn Hanna.
He is also survived by his sister, Teresa Charles of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and his uncle and aunt, Charles and Regena Huettof Alabama, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Ike will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his work, his service to his country, and his generous heart. His steady presence, warm smile, and genuine kindness touched countless lives. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the St. Francis Hospital Oncology Department, its physicians, nurses, and volunteers, whose compassionate care and kindness meant so much to Ike and his family. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Hospice Department, including its nurses and volunteers, for the comfort, dignity, and support they provided during Ike's final journey.
A special thank you is extended to Dr. Rafae, Jana Chavous, and the entire staff at the St. Francis Cancer Center for their exceptional medical care, compassion, and unwavering support throughout Ike's battle with cancer.
Finally, the family is deeply grateful to all of our family members and friends for the outpouring of love, prayers, encouragement, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a source of strength and comfort, and it will never be forgotten.
