I always loved our talks together. Aunt Ima was truly one of the most interesting people I've ever known. She knew things. All kinds of things and she could always think of a use for everything. "Throw away nothing", she told me. "You never know what you will need or when you can use it". She was so intelligent, too. I just loved listening to her. Funny story I want to share. A few years ago, I was going through GRI training in Tulsa. The classes were 8 hrs a day for 2 wks. and study every night for a test each day. One day aunt Ima called me and I asked the instructor if I could leave the room to take a call that must be important because it was my aunt trying to reach me. I went outside and returned her call. ME: "Aunt Ima, is anything wrong"? HER: "No, but it is kind of important. I've been thinking and I think you should become a lawyer. I think you'd be a very good one. If I'd known when you were young that you were cut out to be a lawyer, I'd have paid for your schooling". ME:" Aunt Ima, I'm kind of old to become a lawyer. That would take years"! HER: "Well, the time is going to go by anyway so you might as well be doing something constructive with it". I'll never forget that. I'll never forget you, aunt Ima. God bless you and I know he's finding you very interesting!
