Inola Highfill's Obituary
Mrs. Inola Highfill, 90, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, in Bedford, Texas. She was born to Mr. Jim Sharp and Jenny (Foreman) Sharp on Tuesday, May 9, 1933, in Stillwell, Oklahoma. She and her five sisters lived in Stillwell and sang gospel music together. They opened for several groups including the original Oak Ridge Boys, Blackwood Brothers, Statesmen, Stamps, and Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys as well as others. Inola loved to sing and she loved people! Her family moved to Tulsa when she was in high school. She met and married her husband Bill soon after graduation and was married for 68 years!
Inola leaves her loved ones: her husband Bill, son Dwayne and his wife Kathy. Her grandchildren Josh and Vicky Mills with great grandchildren Kaylee and Morgan, Caleb and Allison Mills with great grandchildren Carson and Cam as well as nieces and great nieces and nephews. Each with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She is and will continue to be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
