Ira Lee Kirby's Obituary
Ira “Butch” Lee Kirby was born on February 11th, 1944, and was reunited with his wife, Georgia Lee Kirby, in heaven on November 3rd, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Georgia, two children, Robert and Pamela, as well as both his parents, Ira and Evelyn Kirby, three brothers, Johnnie, Jim, and Buck, and two sisters, Dorothy and Marylou.
He leaves behind three sisters, Beverly, Bessie, and Rita and his brother, Bob. He is survived by his six children as well as their spouses: Darryl Kirby, Jeffery and Sondi Kirby, Ramona and Tony Mortimer, Sue and Tim Ridenhour, Angie Kirby, and Chris Kirby, as well as 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as many others who knew him and loved him.
He will be missed every day even though we rejoice that he is now with the love of his life in his forever home.
The graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 8th at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
