Iris Lee Barnes' Obituary
Iris Lee Barnes, a resident of Sapulpa, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born September 28, 1925 in Stigler, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Sapulpa and a beautician in her earlier years in Tulsa. Iris enjoyed gardening but her greatest joy was spending time with her son, Darrell and grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Austin C. Barnes; children, Gerald Barnes and Linda Barnes and sister, Olive Dement. Survivors include her son, Darrell Barnes and wife, Diana of Sapulpa; sister, Doris Hall of Salt Lake City, Utah; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Tim Dotson officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Grandsons. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow.
