Isabelle A. Guerrero's Obituary
Isabelle Mirales Arredondo Guerrero went to be with the Lord on June 9th 2013 at age 87. She was born to Carlos F. and Francesca Mirales Arredondo in Needville Texas on November 5th, 1925. She was the youngest of 7. After graduating from Needville high school, she went to nursing school with her sister Ester in San Antonio Texas and worked at Nix Hospital. In 1949 she married her childhood friend and sweetheart Erasmo Trevino Guerrero. After starting their family with first born Phillip and helping her husband obtain his PHD in College Station, they moved to San Antonio Tx. where Gregory was born and the family lived for two year. In 1956 the Guerrero family moved to Oklahoma where she made Tulsa the place her family would forever call home. After the birth of Elizabeth, Isabelle returned to finish her degree at the University of Tulsa where she completed her bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Shortly there after, the baby David was born and the family would be finally complete. Her hobbies include bowling, bridge, Bunco, miniatures and gardening and family. Sundays at noon came to be known as grandma's breakfast which included egg, sausage, grandma's special recipe beans fresh salsa and of course homemade flour tortillas were made and all her family showed up. To say that Isabelle was a woman of beauty and grace would be an understatement. She is loved and cherished by her children and grandchildren, admired and respected by friends and missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Erasmo T. Guerrero, her parents Carlos & Francesca, both brothers John Arredondo and Cosme Arredondo. Three Sisters Anastasia Hernandez, Ester Perez and Mary Arredondo. Older sister Bertha Falcon still lives in Port Lavaca Tx at 95 years old. She is survived by her 4 children. Phil Guerrero and wife Wanda of Inola OK. Greg Guerrero and wife Zoeuwinn of Tulsa, OK. Daughter Elizabeth Guerrero Pool and husband Keith of Tulsa, OK and David Guerrero and wife Stephanie of Belen, NM. 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
