On Sunday March 18, 1962, a cheerful son was born to Essie and the late Isaiah White Sr. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They named him after his fathe, Isaiah White Jr., holding the meaning of the “Salvation of the Lord.” He professed a faith in Christ by baptism at an early age of 13 at Metropolitan Baptist Church. In 1981, he graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School. During his high school years, he was a star on the field as he was active in football. In 1984, he met his soul mate, Julie A. Maple-White and to this union a family of two precious girls, Michelle A. and Niesha N.,and a charming son, Nicholas D. was established. Isaiah “Bug”, as he was lovingly called was a unique and joyful individual. He leaves to cherish his memory: his lovely mother, Essie Mae, His only beloved brother, Connor M., Two daughter-Michelle and Niesha, One son-Nick (Courtney E.), and five grandchildren-Davyon, Cameron, Samara, Corbin, and Braylon, as well as all of those whom he loved. He was a devoted member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church throughout his life. Here he demonstrated the responsibilities of making the truth of God’s word come alive by fulfilling his role as a dedicated church deacon. Isaiah was such a joy and blessing to be around. He always shared a hug and smile for those who were dear to him. Everyone that knew Isaiah knew of his contagious charismatic personality and his ability to touch many by his presence and laughter. Many treasure Isaiah and the spirit he was able to uphold, and for this, he will be valued and missed forever. He was proceeded in death by his father and wife.
