Ivan R Ellsworth's Obituary
ELLSWORTH, Ivan R, 83 joined his beloved wife and our Lord in eternal life, Thursday March 27, 2008. Ivan was born July 5, 1924 in Joplin, Missouri. Ivan served his country with honor during WWII where he received the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon, a Bronze Star Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal and a Purple Heart. Ivan worked at Nelson Electric for over 29 years, where he wore many hats and retired as President of the company. His long time experience in the manufacturing industry garnered him many distinguished business awards for his lifetime service. Ivan was the patriarch of our family, his wisdom, encouragement, guidance and love will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be held this Saturday, April 5th at 10:00 AM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel located at 6500 S. 129 E. Ave. in Broken Arrow.Survived By: his children Mark Ellsworth, Mendy Thomas, Charles Allen, Barbie Pattison, Victor Allen and Cindy Skinner; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ferrol Bennett and his wife Helen Ellsworth.
