Jack Henry Caine, Jr.'s Obituary
Jack Henry Caine, Jr. was born May 5, 1943 in Tulsa, OK to Jack and Florence Edna (French) Caine, a Scottish man and Cherokee woman. He went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2018 at the age of 75 in Tulsa, OK.Jack attended public school in Tulsa and graduated from Central High School. As he stood by a cute girl with curls named Pat in his third-grade class picture, he was unaware that this girl would end up being his high school sweetheart and future wife. They married August 10, 1963, had a wonderful life together and loved each other deeply.After two years of college at the University of Tulsa, Jack enlisted in the Air Force where he spent time in Bermuda and at Edwards Air Force Base in California. He retired from John Christner Trucking in 2008.He absolutely adored his granddaughters Taylor and Laurel, and was an extremely proud grandpa when Laurel graduated from TU the day of his 75th birthday this year. He could be seen at Union football games watching them cheer and supporting anything they were involved in, including buying lots of Girl Scout cookies.Jack loved anything TU, especially football and basketball games. He also enjoyed spending time at the cabin fishing, watching John Wayne movies and Nascar racing. A long-time member of Plainview Baptist Church, he was a deacon, Sunday School teacher and church treasurer.He is survived by daughters Pamela Michele Caine of Tulsa, OK and Krista Renee Cox of Broken Arrow, OK and granddaughters Taylor Michele Cox and Laurel Renee Cox, both of Broken Arrow, OK.He is preceded in death by wife Patricia Jean (Read) Caine, father Jack Henry Caine, mother Florence Edna (French) Caine, and brother Ronald “Corky” Caine.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made in his memory to DaySpring Villa Women and Children’s Shelter, PO Box 1588, Sand Springs, OK 74063.Viewing will be held Sunday, August 12th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 13th at Plainview Baptist Church in Tulsa with Pastor Calvin Dollar officiating.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force and the Patriot Guard Riders.
