Thelma, Sonnie,Craig,Scott,Kevin and familyI am sorry to hear Jack passed away. When I was a little girl I thought he had the kindest smile. I was recently speaking of him at work in talking with my co-workers about "real heros" in our family. I have not seen any of you in many years, but have nothing but the fondest memories of all of you. I share in your loss. Forever in my memories, Cindy Brannon Meeks

Dear Aunt Thelma and boys, Our beloved Uncle Jack was a wonderful man with a sweet sense of humor and the best heart of all. I was so pleased to have a good talk with him at my dad's wake (Jim Gipson). For now, he will go visit with his big sister who loved him deeply and walk in joy. We will miss him. Love and tight hugs to you all. xoxo, vicki lynn mooney
We hold fond memories of Jack as a loving husband, father and grandfather. As a father-in-law he was supportive and loving. Jack was a wonderful Christian role model for not only his sons, but many young men in his church. While his loss is mourned, we rejoice with the family that Jack's final home is in Heaven with Jesus and that this faithful servant is made whole. Kathryn (Hiner/Carter) Wagnon and Roger Wagnon
I was sorry to hear that Mr. Carter had passed away. He like so many of our father's was part of the greatest generation that did so much for our country. Best wishes and condolences to all the Carter family
Jack was my Sunday School teacher at Hale Baptist Church, he was a Godly man, great husband and father. As I grew older and served with him as a Deacon I saw the love he had for his Lord and Savior and his Church. Now Jack and I did not always see eye to eye on somethings but I always had the utmost respect for him. My thoughts and prayers are with Thelma and the boys.Mike Dobson
Sorry for your loss. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers Love Tom and Robin Hoefling
