Jack C. Duval's Obituary
Jack Claiborne Duval passed away November 28. He was born February 9, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Gertrude and Vincil L. Duval. Mr. Duval worked for W.C. Norris Corporation for over thirty years. Following his retirement, he and his wife moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Louise Duval; his sisters, Mary Reed and Anna Mae Stutsman; and granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Ashland. He is survived by daughter, Sandra Grimes (Ray) of Rockville, MD; son, Dennis Duval (Kathy) of Big Canoe, GA; daughter, Jackie Crow (Tom) of Nashville, TN; Grandchildren, Jodi Grobert, Brian Grimes, Nadine Duval, Carrie Thiele, Philip Crow; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Mr. Duval served honorably in the U.S. Navy, Pacific Theater, WWII. He was a man of strong faith, spending hours in Bible study and serving his church faithfully. He enjoyed woodworking, painting, exercising and loving on his dogs. Jack will be remembered for his benevolent heart as he contributed to many charities for children, animals, veterans and Christian evangelism.A graveside service will be held at Floral Haven Cemetery, 6500 S. 129th E. Avenue, Broken Arrow, OK on Tuesday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will take place at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to your favorite charity.
