To Linda and Hogan family: I am truly sorry to hear of Jack's passing–he was always one of my favorites. Jack and I worked together in Miami broadcasting and were neighbors for a few years in the mid 70s. Jack Hogan had a lot of style and a wonderful sense of humor. He had a unique personality and I used to look forward to our visits. In the business world, Jack was a real professional and excelled at every position. I'll miss you, Jack.
I have just received the saddest news, that Jack has passed away. We were friends age 4 in Brookside; in highschool closest friends; I was his Best Man. I don't have the words to express my feelings about Jack's passing right now. More to come. My deepest condolences to Linda and the family.
Jack and I played summer baseball on the same team for several years, and graduated from Edison together in 1962. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was a fine young man, and I certain that attribute stayed with him throughout his life. Rest in Peace old friend.
I am saddened to learn of Jackie's death. My prayers are with with all of you as you journey through the difficult adjustment. May God hold you in the palm of his hand granting you peace and acceptance. Not doing so well myself at this point – but have many fond memories of good times with the Hogan family as he was growing up.
Dear Linda and Family,Jack meant so much to me. We were in Knights together, and had many great experiences growing up in our high school years. Jack did introduce me to my wife, Lynne and we have been married 46 years. Yesterday at lunch it hit me, no one would be singing "O'Danny Boy" everytime we would meet. Jack, Kenny, Jim, Bob, Steve and Larry were all very close during those years. After we left Edison, we went our separate ways, but our hearts and thought were always with each other and the times we had. I will always remember Jack. There was a time we were out of touch for 30 years and we saw each other at one of our reunions, and it was like time had never passed.I will always miss him.
Dear Linda and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Jack was a good man. He was my first "serious" boyfriend in highschool (I am Edison Class of "63). Two of Jack's friends at Edison were Bob Cook and Danny Miller. Bob lived two blocks from me, so I had known him since seventh grade. Bob introduced me to Jack, and we started dating. Later, Jack introduced me to Danny, and we started dating. Bob Cook married my sister, Penny, 40 years ago. I married Danny 46 years ago. So, you can see that Jack played a hugh part in my life. I thank him for that. It was wonderful seeing Jack at Danny's 45th Class Reunion at you beautful home. I am so glad I had a chance to talk with him. Again, I am very sorry for your sadness. My very best wishes to all of the Hogan Family, Lynne
Hi Linda, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.Brenda Thompson Mike Fretz, Inc.
Dear Linda and Hogan family, I was deeply saddened to learn of Jack's passing. Jack and I were both born in May, 1944. I was born on the 8th in New York. We moved to Tulsa in 1946 with American Airlines and I went to Holmes Elementary with Jack. We were both on the "Little Dodgers" baseball team, Prep Champs in 1954! He used to call me "Hughie", after hearing mom call me that ?? at our games. I remember his great skills in baseball even at 10 and him singing solo "Oh Holy Night" in our grade school chorus. He was very talented. My wife Joan and I enjoyed the hospitality at your home during the Class of 62 reunion and it was great to see Jack again. He took me back to his "sport corner" and showed me some pictures from baseball when we were kids. He was always such a nice guy. Warmest Regards,Hugh Roberson
