Hollingsworth, Jack H. 83, of Oklahoma City formerly of Broken Arrow, passed from this life on May 3, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Jack was born on April 4, 1926 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to William Patrick Derby and Nell Hollingsworth. He served his country with the Army Air Corp, 1944-1946. Jack graduated from Oklahoma A&M in 1951 with a B.S. in Physics. Jack worked as a Senior Project Engineer for Explorer Pipeline Co. in Tulsa prior to retirement. He had a passion for flying and was a longtime member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Beverly; son Mark Hollingsworth of Broken Arrow, his wife Rita and their children Eric and Alex; and son Grant Hollingsworth of Tulsa, his wife Linda and their children Kara and Matthew. Jack was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Patricia Ruth Hollingsworth and his brother, George L. (Buddy) Hollingsworth. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009, 10:00am, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
