Jack Maynard's Obituary
Jack Maynard, 88 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, December 28, 2020 in a Tulsa Hospital. He was born September 6, 1932 in Milton Freewater, Oregon to his parents, Robert James Maynard and Grace May Queen Maynard. He married the love of his life, Ethel Louise Murphy on September 17, 1953 in Geff, Illinois and they have shared over 68 wonderful years together.
Jack worked as an electrical engineer in the communications industry and served in the United States Air Force.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Maynard of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two children, Lucinda Crain and her husband Matthew of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and David Maynard and his wife Elaine of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four siblings, Lee Maynard and his wife Janet of Topeka, Kansas, Raymond Maynard and his wife Cathy of Clovis, California, Mason Maynard and his wife Wanda of Boise, Idaho, and Mickie Shaw of Gold Beach, Oregon; four grandchildren, Sarah Mayfield, Rebecca Lynch, Kayla Chambers and Evan Maynard; six great-grandchildren, Jackson Lynch, Jasea-Adali Lynch, Theoden Goss, Jack L. Maynard, Caroline Maynard and Etta Chambers; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Richard, James and Kenneth Maynard.
Private family graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
Celebration of Jack's life will be Thursday, 7:00pm December 31, 2020 at Broken Arrow Church of Christ, 505 E. Kenosha St., Broken Arrow Oklahoma 74012.
