Jack Remington's Obituary
Jack Edward Remington, 90, of Tulsa, passed from this life at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa on Saturday, September 26, 2020. He was born February 17, 1930 in Oskaloosa, IA. He joined the Navy and settled in Tulsa after his service discharge. Jack was an avid aviation and WWII enthusiast and collector. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brother, nephew and 3 adult children, Brad Remington, Gary Remington and Janet Pittman. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend. He is survived by the love of his life for the past 52 years, Bernice Remington of the home. Together they have 11 children, 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grand-children and a host of other family. Surviving children are son, John Remington and wife Jan of Langley, OK, daughter Gail Remington Sears of Coweta, in addition to his sons Don Porter and wife Claudia of Tulsa, Jim Pittman and wife Joyce of Catoosa, Jerry Pittman and wife Rhonda of Van Buren, AR., Billy Pittman of Tulsa, Greg Pittman and wife Alice of Tulsa, and Rev. Christopher Lindsey and his husband, Scott Lindsey of Tulsa.
Graveside services will be held at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow on Thursday, October 1 at 2 pm.
Viewing available from 4m-6pm on Wednesday at the Floral Haven Funeral Home.
