Jackie "Jack" Eugene Fuqua's Obituary
On October 27, 2023, Catoosa, Oklahoma bid farewell to a beloved member of its community, Jackie "Jack" Eugene Fuqua. Jack, as he was known, was born on September 29, 1943, in Springdale, Arkansas, to Franklin Flawson Fuqua and Ida May deGruchy. He married the love of his life Doris “Jeannie” Jean Bean on August 7, 1971. The two would go on to create wonderful memories and a legacy to last forever.
Jack's love for hunting and fishing was unmatched. He found solace and joy in spending time in nature, whether it was patiently waiting for the perfect catch or tracking game in the woods. His passion for these activities was contagious, and he often shared his knowledge and skills with others, instilling in them a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. As a jack of all trades, Jack possessed a broad range of skills and knowledge.
Jack was a no-nonsense kind of guy, always straightforward and honest in his dealings. He had a knack for offering practical advice and cutting through unnecessary complexities. His wisdom surpassed his years, and many sought his counsel when faced with life's challenges.

He is preceded by his parents, brother Melvin “Pete” Fuqua, brother James Fuqua, sister Lucia “Shorty” Cortiana, sister Fuchia Bahr, brother Franklin “Frankie” Fuqua, brother in law Scott Bean.
He is survived by his wife Doris “Jeannie” Fuqua, son Clint Fuqua, daughter Shelly Fuqua, sister in law Diana Langer, grandchildren Kalli Fuqua, Hunter Fuqua; great-grandchildren Colson Crisman, Iris Jean Reyes, brother in law Clay Bean and wife Joyce
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov 1, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home with Pastor James Lacey officiating
