Jackson Paul Armstrong's Obituary
Jackson P. Armstrong, 92, passed on Sunday morning, July 9, 2017, at 10:10 a.m. at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw.He served his country during World War II as a Boatsman on the USS White Plains of the Pacific Fleet. He retired after 25 years of service at American Airlines as crew chief. He loved the outdoors and gardening was a passion he shared with his family. Jack was a Christian man and raised his family to love God.He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lois Armstrong of Sallisaw; their children, Paul Armstrong of Durant, Sarah Armstrong of Sallisaw and the late Bill Armstrong of Catoosa; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends who will miss greatly.Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday July 12th, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with committal service to follow.
