Jackson D. Miller's Obituary
Jackson D Miller, 68, of Tulsa, died on July 24, 2014. He was born on December 25, 1945, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the son of John Robert and Eileen Elizabeth (McElwee) Miller. On November 11, 1994, he married his wife, Karol, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jackson had worked as a merchant services representative in the Tulsa area since 1996, alongside his good friend and partner, Paul Mabardy. He was a smart, well read and very opinionated. He loved dogs, having had several special “buddies” throughout his life. He was strong, yet had a tender, sentimental side. He was patriotic, and loved his country very much. His favorite hymn was “All Things Bright And Beautiful”. Jackson loved to take road trips and long drives. He enjoyed his poker group, which included good friends, Rees Evans, Don Stacy and Ron Graber. Jackson will be missed by all who knew and love him. He is survived by his wife, Karol Miller, son, Clay Miller, and daughter in law, Angela, daughter, Erin Miller, step-children, Grant York, and Jenny Zink, and her husband, John, grandson, Tyler Neal, granddaughter, Courtney Neal, and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John Miller. A memorial service will be held in Oklahoma City at a later date. Please check back for service details.
