Jaclyn Louise Madigan's Obituary
Jaclyn (Jackie) Louise Madigan, 86, passed away peacefully on August 8 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Dearborn, Michigan, Jackie was the daughter of Milton and Jenevieve Jacobi and the beloved sister of Milton (Karen) and Stephen (Jean) Jacobi. She graduated from Dearborn High School and attended the McConnell Air Hostess and Air Steward School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was there that her love for travel truly began — a love that would remain a constant throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Madigan, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.
Jackie had an adventurous spirit and a warm, generous heart. In recent years, she cherished vacations with her family, especially trips to the beach, where she could listen to the waves and feel the sun on her face. At home, she found joy in tending her flower garden, watching movies, and spoiling her dog.
She is survived by her children, Sherry McCormick, Susan Madigan, and Tom Madigan; grandchildren, Sabrina (Glen) Ash, Brandi McCormick, Jeremy McCormick, and Matthew McCormick; and great grandchildren Silas McNeill-McCormick and Gabriel Ash.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Legend at Mingo Road and Suncrest Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association at https://www.lbda.org in honor of Jackie’s memory.
