Jaclyn Robinson's Obituary
Jaclyn was a resident of Owasso, Oklahoma
She was born in Schaumburg, Illinois on November 23rd, 1982 to Patrice Cohill Robinson and Robert Robinson. Jackie moved to Oklahoma age 9.
After a long battle with cancer she received her wings on January 16th, 2024 at the age of 41 surrounded with friends and family.
Jackie was a graduate of Claremore High School, Class of 2002. She attended Rogers University and was a Graduate of Balloon Training Institute in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was a substitute teacher for Claremore school district, Owner and operator Blow, Twist Pop, a balloon twisting and balloon decoration business. She was a talented balloon artist and puppet enthusiast, charming both children and adults alike with her creative talents.
Her company brought smiles to many faces through her entertainment services and balloon décor.
Jackie worked as a dog trainer at K9 Manners and More for over 10 yrs. In her professional life Jackie pursued her passion for animals as a dedicated dog trainer, bringing joy and obedience to countless furry companions.
Jackies easy-going nature and love for her family were evident in all that she did. She cherished her daughter Graylin embraced every moment spent with her. Jackie had been learning Cherokee language so she could teach her daughter the spoken language of ancestors. She immersed Garylin in Cherokee culture.
Despite her trials and health struggles Jackie found time to help many others.
Jackie's compassionate spirit extended beyond her immediate family as she dedicated her time to various charitable causes. Jackie volunteered for various non-profit organizations such as: Honor Flights Society, Lisa Baines Ministries, Go for the Gold Cancer Kid, Joy in the Cause and puppy raiser for Therapeutics' Service Dogs. She was also a temporary sister to numerous children that her mom fostered.
Jackie was an avid reader and especially enjoyed fantasy books, like Harry Potter and her favorite author was Mercedes Lackey.
Jackie is survived by her, daughter Graylin, parents Robert and Patty Cohill Robinson, her siblings Kelly, Kaitlynn, Shawn Robinson and sister in law Shaylin Robinson. Nieces Kairi, Maia and Elea Robinson of Owasso, Arleigh, Hudson, and Grason Williams of Claremore numerous cousins and aunts and uncles.
Jackie is proceeded in death by her grandparents Ted and Marjorie Robinson of IL, Andrew and Jeanne Cohill of AZ, cousin Ryan Wingren of Rhode Island, cousin Joshua Robinson of Florida, and Uncle Ricky Arhens of IL
Services will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Friday, Feb 2nd at 12:30pm.
