Jake Moss' Obituary
Jacob Patrick Moss of Broken Arrow, OK, just 41 years old, died unexpectedly on December 3, 2021 from a heart condition. The family is deeply saddened by his death. He was born on June 2, 1980, in Stillwater, OK. He attended Stillwater High School, graduated from Oklahoma State University, and lived in the Tulsa area after graduating.
Jacob married the love of his life, Jennifer Pazzo in 2005. A year later they welcomed their daughter, Ava Ryan (15), into the world. They completed their family in 2009 with the birth of their daughter, Claire Elizabeth (12). Anyone who knew Jake could clearly see his daughters were the center center of his world. Jake’s girls would describe their dad as loving, kind, funny, easygoing, and devoted. He was their world and they enjoyed doing everything together as a family.
Jacob began his career in banking. For the past 6 years he worked in sales at Hahn appliance. If he could have chosen a dream career it would have been a professional golfer. However, his golfing abilities were better suited for a fun day on the course with his friends. Jacob was the life of the party, made everyone laugh with his quick wit and sarcasm, and made every person that met him feel like they were his best friend.
In addition to Ava, Claire, and Jennifer, Jacob is survived by his father and mother, Fredrick Moss and Carol Moss, as well as his sister-Shaun Moss, sister-Alicia Mayfield, brother-BJ Moss, brother-Jeff Moss, sister-Rikki Schroeder, 6 nephews, and 4 nieces.
Jacob will be affectionately remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a bright light in this world and the family would like to honor him in the best way they can.
The viewing will be held on Tuesday, 12/7 from 4-6 PM at Floral Haven-6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
His Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 12/8 at 11:00 AM at BattleCreek Church-Jenks Campus-2101 W. 118th St., Jenks, OK 74037.
In order to ensure Jacob’s stories live on with his greatest legacy, his girls Ava and Claire, an email account has been established for loved ones to share memories, stories, or anything they would like his daughters to know about him. All of the stories will be collected and published in a book for his daughters. Please feel free to include photos. The email will be kept open indefinitely to allow stories to be collected for a lifetime.
