Jacqueline Moren's Obituary
On the morning of February 26, 2016, Jackie passed away of natural causes after a long battle with dementia at Wood Manor in Claremore, Oklahoma. Jacqueline was 93 years old. Jacqueline was born in Gideon, Oklahoma in Cherokee County on December 20, 1922. She was the third daughter of Andrew “Andy” Clyde Taylor and Hersie Hubbard Taylor. Jacqueline was a Homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She was married to Calvin Moren for 48 years. They had a special bond and she took loving care of Calvin during his life and death 26 years ago. Jackie and Calvin had such a loving marriage. They enjoyed fishing as often as possible and visiting family at Grand Lake. She and Calvin enjoyed traveling with her sister, Kathleen and her husband Bunk on many trips all over the United States. Jackie was a charter member of Garnett Road Baptist Church. She was devoted lifetime member. She was a good Christian and a wonderful example for all that knew her. Jacqueline loved to garden and had the most beautiful flowers. She always wanted her yard to be in perfect condition.Jacqueline was very proud of her family, especially her grandchildren, and all of their accomplishments. Jacqueline had a special friend, Gerald Wells, whom she adored. He was such a comfort to her in her last years. Jacqueline’s last 5 years were spent in the care of Wood Manor, in Claremore, OK. Jacqueline is now with our savior in Heaven. Jacqueline is survived by her son, Jerry and his wife, Susan, Daughter Nancy Burns and her husband, Lloyd; three grandsons, John Moren, Mitch Moren and his wife, Sara, and Marc Moren; two granddaughters, Mary Beth Henry & her husband, Rick and Sarah Burns’ six great grandchildren, Hanna Henry, Reece Henry, Logan Moren, Joel Moren, Bennett Moren, & AJ Moren; sister, Kathleen Ludwig and her husband, Ronald and brother, AC Taylor and his wife, Connie. Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, Floral Haven Rose Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
