Jacquelyn Smith's Obituary
JACQUELYN SMITH, 88 Jacquelyn Smith, 88, of Tulsa, passed away April 4, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home, in Broken Arrow on Sunday, April 9, from 1:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Jenks, Oklahoma, on Monday, April 10, at 11:00 am with Pastor Rick Frie officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery. Floral Haven Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements. Jacquelyn is a member of First Baptist Church of Jenks and for many years was a member of Phoenix Avenue Baptist in Tulsa. Jacquelyn was born in Tulsa to Tom and Pauline Perry on December 15, 1928. She attended Eugene Field elementary school, Clinton Junior High and Webster High School. She retired from Arthur Young & Co., after working there for many years. Previously Jacquelyn worked for Tidewater Oil Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, participating in church activities, watching various sporting events, and dining at a good restaurant with family and friends. Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Smith and granddaughter, Jackie Smith. She was also preceded in death by parents, Tom and Pauline Perry; and five sisters, Sue Cutburth, Madelyn Starr, Doris Hart, Marilyn Jones, and June Phillips. Jacquelyn is survived by her sister Dixie Jurney of Tulsa; and by her brother, Jim Tom Perry of Tulsa and Brother-in-law, Johnny Smith, of Liberty, Mo. She is also survived by a daughter, Cheryl Cleland of Tulsa, son-in-law Bill Cleland of Tulsa; a son Alan Smith of Broken Arrow, daughter-in-law Jamie Smith of Broken Arrow; five grandchildren, Amos Smith of San Diego, Glory Police of Broken Arrow, and Eli Smith of Tulsa, Kim Walker of Tulsa and Robert Walker of Flower Mound, TX. Six greatgrandchildren, Micah Griffin, Parker Walker, Matt Police, Autumn Smith, Andrew Police, Alicia Police, Daniel Smith, Colin Walker, Hagan Walker, and a soon to be newborn great-great-grandchild.
