James Herbert Anderson Jr's Obituary
James Herbert Anderson Jr, 85 of Tulsa, passed away February 21,20201 at his residence surrounded by his son and extended family. He was Born September 16, 1935 in Vian, Oklahoma to Mary Gonzales- Anderson and James Herbert Anderson. He attended college at OU where he was in ROTC but was short lived because he funded his Freshman year with money, he saved up mowing yards in Tulsa as a kid. He was a longtime telecommunications worker in Tulsa for over 35 years. Prior to that he was a defense contractor for McDonald Douglas as an electronics foreman for the F4 Phantom fighter aircraft. James was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Herbert and his sister Mary Shortridge- Anderson. He is survived by his son Derrick James Anderson 36, and his grandchildren Matthew and Marley Anderson. A rosary will be held from 3-5PM, Sunday, February 28,2021. A funeral service will be held to celebrate Jim’s life at 10am March 1st at Floral Haven Cemetery.
