I remember Mary Beth's dad coming to KC in fall of 1996 after a big storm to help B with tree limb cleanup. Since she still had power, she invited us over for a hot meal. She also made a pie or two, one of Jim's favorite as I recall, and he graciously (but she said reluctantly) shared it with the table for dessert.
