James Lee Breshears' Obituary
James Lee Breshears, 58, of Broken Arrow, passed away in Tulsa at St. Francis Hospital on Saturday, May 4, 2019. He was born November 26, 1960 in Tulsa to James Samuel Breshears and Madeline Lavern (Dilbeck) Lambert. Jim played baseball and football at Charles Page High School in Sand Springs. He went on to play baseball at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva until he sustained a career ending shoulder injury. Following that, he returned to Tulsa where he graduated from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. After graduating from Spartan, he joined FlightSafety International and worked there for more than 37 years until the time of his passing. During his time there, he worked across many departments and leaves behind many friendships he formed throughout the years.James loved life! He enjoyed golfing, boating, and had recently discovered a new passion for target shooting at Tulsa Firearms with friends and family. He loved to manicure his front lawn, but he relinquished the backyard to his adored Golden Retriever, Penney. James was an avid reader and loved watching the San Francisco 49ers and NASCAR races. He and his wife, Molly, went to many races together, but his favorite was Martinsville Speedway. This race was special because he was able to visit multiple race shops in the North Carolina area. He especially enjoyed visiting the shop of his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr.James was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Robert Lee and Minnie Hutchins, maternal grandmother Jean Dilbeck, father James S. Breshears, and stepfather Nolan D Lambert. James is survived by his mother Madeline Lambert, wife of 20 years, Molly, son Jeff and family Jennifer and Kambree Parker, daughter Cassie and husband Cody Keiffer, his precious granddaughter Peyton Keiffer, stepson Kiel Miller and husband Richard Miller II, and stepdaughter Rachelle Ward. Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 in the main chapel at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. The service will be followed by a brief graveside service and interment at Tahlequah City Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
