James Elmo Caffey's Obituary
James (Jim) Elmo Caffey of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on January 15, 2018 at the age of 80. He was born to Elmo and Dorothy Caffey on January 12, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma Jim worked as an auto mechanic, employed at Spike’s, PSO, and owned Caffey Auto Service and A+ Transmissions for a combined 37 years. He led Troop 17 as the Boy Scout Scoutmaster in Brookside for many years. He also served as Boy Scout Explorer leader for a post based in his auto shop in Brookside. Jim is survived by his wife Wanda LaVerne Caffey; Brother Bob Caffey and his wife Paula; Daughter Cindy Helberg (Caffey) and her husband Rick ; Son David Caffey and his wife Cindy (Jones); Step-daughter Elizabeth Guy; nine grandchildren Mitch Helberg, Matt Helberg, Jaimie Caffey, Jessica Caffey, Joshua Caffey, Chris Caffey and wife Candice, Stephanie Caffey-Narducci and spouse Elizabeth, Johnathan Caffey, and Joshua Guy; three great grand children Michael Caffey, Rosie Caffey, and Hunter Caffey. He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Caffey, and Step-daughter Andrea Guy.
