James Campain's Obituary
James A. Campain, 91 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence in Tulsa. He was born November 12, 1926 in Portland, Oregon a son of Tony J. and Margaret Campain.James graduated high school and then enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served. After serving in the Navy he went on to work as a sales representative for many years, working for Boise Cascade selling lumber and supplies. He enjoyed fishing and boating at Keystone Lake; using his metal detector to search for hidden treasures and he loved to build things.James is survived by four daughters, Jeannie Morgan and husband Michael of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Connie Ellison and husband Kenneth of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Linda DeLay and husband Mark of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and Bobbie Haas and husband Wayne of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one son, Jim Denney of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one niece Linda and one nephew, Tony. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and his ex-wife and friend, Virginia Campain.A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor James Lacey officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disables American Veteran’s at www.dav.org.
