James Charles "Buck" Brian's Obituary
James Charles “Buck” Brian passed away July 12, 2015 in Morris, Oklahoma. Buck was born January 31, 1954 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to the late James Allie and Shelley Anne (Lucas) Brian. He lived most of his life in Morris, OK. He graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1972. He joined the Okmulgee Fire Department and rose through the ranks retiring after 27 years as shift commander in 2003. He was a member of IAFF local 2839. He enjoyed his career of being a firefighter, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, wood working and his trail rides. He dearly loved his family and pets. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and make people laugh. He touched so many lives in his lifetime. He will be remembered for his courage, kindness, selflessness, humor and determination. He is survived by his wife, Rhnea of Morris, a brother, Dr. Michael Brian of Henryetta, his sisters Jill Holleman and husband, Ott of Okmulgee and Dr. Dana Brian of St. Paul, MN, a brother in law Tommy Sandridge of Morris, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and fellow firefighters. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday, July 17, 2015 in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Visitation will be 1pm to 8pm Thursday, July 16, 2015,
