I will forever miss my favorite Uncle. As a little girl I would mimic you. I would drink Dr. Pepper, because it is what you drank. We didn't get to visit anyone on my Mom's side after 4th grade. It wasn't until 1999, when I took my 3 sons to meet my favorite Uncle.
One of my favorite memories, was after my Mom had died, I remember you were passing through and pulled up in front of the house. My dad sent me to see who was there. I saw you and as I rushed out the door, I said "It's my Uncle Jamie!" He didn't believe me, and said I was embarrassing myself, as I rushed you. You told him don't say that to my favorite niece. She knows who her favorite uncle is. Being so far away from everyone, I missed so much. I wasn't told you passed. I would have come Uncle Jamie. You are forever in my heart. 😭
