I pray that the families heart and mind will be filled with good memories. I know that Jim will be remember for many kind deeds he did for Skelly Drive Baptist Church and the church members. As the secretary of the church he thought of what would make my job a little better. Jim was always willing to fill-in at the church to answer the phone or door when I was out of the office.
I was blessed to have Mr. Curry as a teacher at Skelly. Good man and teacher. He affected many young people in a positive way. May God comfort his family in their time of grief.
Jim would bring batteries to church about once a month and give them to me. He knew I liked listening to the Oasis channel on my transistor radio at my bedside while falling asleep. He also liked listening to the Oasis channel at bedtime. It was always a simple, but thoughtful gesture. He will be missed. Shirley Turner
