James "Bud" Earl Chapman's Obituary
James “Bud” Earl Chapman, age 77 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on August 2, 2011. He was born on June 16, 1934 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Francis Earl and Nevelyn Genevieve (Fleming) Chapman. Bud graduated from high school in Jennings, Oklahoma. He married Dorothy L. (Travis) Chapman on August 6, 1953 in Tulsa. Bud worked as a supervisor for American Airlines before retiring. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Chapman of 58 years; children: Randy Earl Chapman and his wife Robin, James “David” Chapman and his wife Julie; grandchildren: Travis Chapman, Nicholas Chapman, Austin Chapman, Jennifer Chapman and Ryan Chapman; siblings: Keith Chapman and his wife Marilyn, Gay Vaughn and her husband Fred. Bud was preceded in death by his parents: Francis and Nevelyn Chapman; daughter: Paula Louise Chapman; sisters: Janice Cox and Edda Lee Tirps. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011, 10:00 AM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with interment following at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
